QC-CALC Real-Time
QC-CALC Real-Time focuses on data collection and storage. It can collect data from any CMM or Vision System and stores the data in a QCC database.
It also has a basic level of reporting built in.

QC-CALC SPC
QC-CALC SPC focuses on analysis and reporting. It includes all standard SPC reports and uses QCC files generated by QC-CALC Real-Time as its source.
It is also especially useful for monitoring changes on the shop floor from separate offices on the network.

QC-CALC Enterprise
QC-CALC Enterprise is both QC-CALC Real-Time and QC-CALC SPC combined into one package. Use Enterprise if you want all your data collection and reporting to be on the same machine.

QC-CALC Gage Central LITE
QC-CALC Gage Central LITE is a low cost solution that can centrally collect data from all QC-Gage copies, but allows only filtering and manual reporting. All other features have been shut down to reduce cost.
QC-CALC Gage Central
QC-CALC Gage Central is a central data collection and reporting solution locked to receive ONLY QC-Gage input. Other than this, it has all the features of QC-CALC Enterprise.

QC-Gage
QC-Gage is a gage interpreter that can interface with any gage using an RS232 connection via a COM port. It parses the results from the gage, organizes your measurements into a spec plan, and outputs the results of each part in a batch to QC-CALC Gage Central.
QC-Gage is also very useful for hand entered information.

Data Collection (CMM)
Data collection from a CMM or vision system is usually file based and provides many details about the part, nominals, tolerances, factors, etc. The file is dropped off in a specific directory when the part program finishes and QC-CALC collects and displays the results in the file automatically.
Data Collection (QC-Gage)
QC-Gage runs spec plans to lead you through the process of measuring any number of features on your part. When finished, QC-Gage generates a file that can be read by QC-CALC Gage Central and drops it off in the correct location for collection.
Data Collection (Serial COM Port)
Data collection via a serial COM port is usually just a string of numbers and doesn't typically contain information such as Nominal or Tolerance.
Most of the time this comes from hand-held gages, but any gage with an RS232 serial output can be read by our software.
Data Collection (Manual Entry)
We support manual entry for data that comes from a machine without an automatic output. Examples of this could be a manual CMM or a manual gage.
Manual Reporting
This features allows you to manually run a report on demand via the Report menu. We support a vast array of SPC charts and reports and allow you to filter the data on which to report, send the report to a printer, save the report to a file, and email the file.
Automatic Reporting
This feature allows you to set up reports to be launched automatically based on frequency or an event such as a part out of tolerance.
You can set up the type of the report, how much data to use in the report, and whether to send the report to the printer, file, or email with file attachment. Output file types include all the typical formats such as CSV (comma delimited), RTF, Excel, Adobe PDF, BMP, XML, and many more.
Automatic Exporting
This feature allows you to set up automatic exports based on frequency or an event such as a part out of tolerance. You specify all the parameters like the export file type, frequency or event to trigger the export, how much data to export, and special options for overwriting/appending to existing data.
Export file types include both typical export formats such as Access, ASCII Text (CSV, Tab), Excel, and Lotus 1-2-3 to advanced output formats such ODBC/OLE DB databases like SQL Server or Oracle.
We even export direct to other Corporate statistics software such as:- Minitab
- Q-DAS
- InfinityQS
- DataPage
- Lighthouse SPC
- Visual SPC
Trend Analysis
This feature allows you to monitor a variety of trends and be notified immediately when a trend is found. Examples of trends currently detected are Cpk Exception, Positive or Negative Drift Trends, Instability Trends (1, 2 or 3 Sigma Exceptions), Stratification, Mixtures, Consecutive point trends, Cp Exception, and many more.
Upon detecting a trend QC-CALC can be configured to change the color of screen plots, require assignable cause/corrective action entry, print a report or email a report as a file attachment.
Gage R&R Wizard
Our Gage R&R Wizard will quickly lead you through the steps and keep you organized while doing an AIAG standard Gage R&R Study. Upon completion, we can print a simple 1-2 page report showing you just the results that are important to you.
QC-CALC takes the pain out of Gage R&R reporting!!!
Filtering
Filtering allows you to quickly reduce the amount of on-screen data so you are seeing only the information that is important to you. You can filter by both dimensions (i.e. only show dimensions with a trend or only show features 1-5) and records (i.e. only show Cavity 1 data from last week).
By allowing you to quickly reduce the data you are viewing we take the confusion out of getting answers to your questions. While filtered, you can report or export based on the filtered resultset.
Monitoring
This feature allows you to monitor a QC-CALC database on the shop floor from a remote office. As changes occur to the database, the remote QC-CALC SPC copy is immediately updated to reflect the new data.
Grouping
This feature allows you to group two different database files together temporarily for reporting purposes. This is very convenient when you measure different features of the same part on two different machines. Grouping allows you to report across the two machines.
Spreadsheet View
Spreadsheet View allows you to interact with the data in a spreadsheet grid. It is very convenient for keyboard entry of manual dimensions or editing of specific points or sets of points.
Plot View
Plot View allows you to interact with the data in graphical form. Simply viewing a sheet of numeric data does not tell you the whole story or allow you to see trends that could be occurring.
At a glance, Plot View can identify problems with your process using color-coded identifiers.
