SYMPTOM
Exported data is scrambled when read into Excel (or other software package)
CAUSE
When you make an ASCII file one of the questions QC-CALC asks you is number of columns. The default value for this is 80 columns. 80 columns works well if you are trying to send the output to a printer but when you are trying to send the output to a program like excel you should use a much larger value - for example 20,000.
RESOLUTION
Use a value higher than 80 for output columns such as 20,000.
