PREREQUISITES
This article only applies to Windows Vista users running QC-CALC or QC-Gage versions 3.1 and earlier.
SYMPTOM
I can't get the help files to open.
CAUSE
Microsoft stopped supporting winhlp32 files with Windows Vista. This happens to be the type of help files used by QC-CALC or QC-Gage versions 3.1 and earlier. Although Microsoft no longer supports these files, they have developed a free patch, which will allow Vista Users to view these files.
RESOLUTION
These are steps to reach the download:
1. Go to www.microsoft.com
2. Click Downloads and Trials
3. Click Download Center
4. Search "Windows" for "winhlp32.exe"
5. Click Article Named "WinHlp32.exe for Windows Vista"
