QC-Mobile 4.2 Released!!

QC-Mobile 4.2 has been released as a 64 bit application to allow for better handling of user sessions and larger result sets.

Dynamic Record Filters

A significant addition is the ability to create dynamic record filters within the QC-Mobile web browser interface no longer making users dependent on ERS for filter creation. Dynamic record filters allow ad hoc reporting from both the Live Data and Statistical Summary screens but do not save as permanent filters. They are also remembered at the user level between sessions or when switching pages for easy updating.



System Status Screen

A System Status screen has been added that has two tabs; Deliverable Status and Data Collection Status. The Deliverable Status screen shows the status of the current deliverables that are visible to the user including Next Run dates, Enabled status, and a history popup. The Data Collection Status screen shows all data collection stations including the latest part file, collection time, and total number of parts measured at each station. Truly a quality activity “Production Report” that allows unparalleled transparency into both ongoing jobs and the data collection process.

Tasks Home Screen Widget

QC-Mobile 4.2 boasts a new Home Screen widget called Tasks. This new widget serves as an inbox for tasks that need to be performed based on triggers in ERS. For instance, a trigger in ERS may be watching for out of control or out of spec data points. When one occurs, a task can be created to assign a cause or corrective action. The task will remain in the user’s task list until performed. Since tasks can be assigned to user groups, any member of the group can perform the task and it will be removed from everyone else’s task list. This marks the first time QC-Mobile has offered the ability for users to actually change portions of data and is a watershed moment for the product. Per usual, all tasks are performed based on user privileges and cannot be performed without explicit update privileges.
