SYMPTOM
You get an invalid file name error message
CAUSE
Many inspection machines will not send QC-CALC a file name unless you save the inspection routine first. Also if you are running and the inspection machine that allows long file names with a version of QC-CALC does not, you must use names that conform to the DOS 8.3 standard.
RESOLUTION
Make sure you save the inspection routine. If necessary, use a filename conforming to the 8.3 standard.
