Symptom
I'm trying to create a report in the report designer, but I can't find the New menu.
Cause
There isn't currently a way to create a new report from scratch in the Report Designer.
Resolution
To create a new report in the Report Designer, edit an existing Template that most closely matches the type of data you want to report. Then select File - Save As and name the new template accordingly. From here, you can edit the new Template as you desire.
