INTRODUCTION

There are 2 places that you should change this:

  1. For all future files, you can go to Tools > Options > File Creation Default Values and click on Database Settings. Now look for Text Factor Width (in characters). You may set this from 1-50.

  1. For all of the files that have already been created with insufficient Text Factor Widths, you must individually widen them. Open the file the choose File > Modify Database Structure. You may not do this if both QC-CALC Real-Time and QC-CALC SPC are open. Once again there will be a tab labeled Database Settings. Find the Text Factor Width setting and enter a value from 1-50.
