SYMPTOM
No data from my gage in HyperTerminal, or the data is scrambled
CAUSE
You have some settings wrong in either the gage or Notepad.
RESOLUTION
Try changing baud rates, parity, stop bits, etc….
If it is constantly sending scrambled data, your gage may not output ASCII text. Sorry, there is nothing we can do about this issue.
You may have a poorly shielded cable, electrical noise, or improper grounding. Try using a different computer.
