SYMPTOM

You may find that one type of measurement is always accepted and a different type is never accepted.
OR
You might find that readings with a different number of decimal places are accepted or rejected.
OR
You may find that after you receive one type of reading the next reading is always rejected or perhaps the first reading after you turn on the gage is always rejected.

RESOLUTION

Check the interface notes for this gage in the gage manual. This section describes many of the "quirks" of different gages. If the interface notes do not describe the problem or provide a solution, try the measurements that produce an error in HyperTerminal to make certain that the specific examples work in HyperTerminal.

Note: Look for a pattern for which measurements are received and which ones are not.

If they do work in HyperTerminal - Then collect samples of these readings that fail and send them to Prolink. Read capturing output from gages below for instructions on collecting data.
