Trying to conduct Gage R&R in Real-Time. It will not let me run manual input (with no machine dimensions). All buttons for modify database, edit nominal and tolerance are grayed out, as well as the ability to set up manual input.

QC-CALC Real-Time was not designed for manual entry only. A database doesn't get created until we receive a record from an inspection software, at which point manual inputs can be added. So if you would like to do a GR&R using only manual entry you will have two choices:
1) Use QC-Gage. This would be the simplest. QC-Gage is designed specifically for manual or gage entry. How it works is you design a spec plan of what features and factors are being measure and then you run the spec plan and it prompts for each individual measurement. Once the spec plan has been filled out the data is sent to Real-Time.
2) Use QC-CALC SPC. This would essentially work like setting up a file in Excel. What you would need to do is go to FILE - NEW and create a new database. You then say how many features and factors and the database will be made. You will then need to go to EDIT - ADD RECORD and set the total number of records you will have based on your Part/Trial/Operator numbers. The operators can then fill in the measurements as they would in Excel. Once the database is filled in your can then run any of our GR&R reports on it.
