Forgotten or Misplaced Passwords in QC-CALC or QC-Gage (ver. 3.0 and higher)
This explains what is needed to get a password reset by the support team.

ISSUE

You have set the password in QC-CALC to lock down certain menus. You have then forgotten the password and cannot turn the menus back on.

Passwords are required for the Administrative Tools area, as well as the alternative Tools> Password > Lock Menus area in QC-CALC.

RESOLUTION

For password resets, we will require a signed letterhead from the department head, as well as additional information. At this point, you should open a ticket by emailing the support team (support@prolinksoftware.com), or if you're enrolled in our Maintenance Plan you can call our support line at: (860) 659-5928 x2.

We will walk you through the process of unlocking your software.
